We have welcomed so many new Friends here to Kenton Park Estate this year. It's been an incredibly busy Season with a huge number of Wine Safari Tours & Tastings and The Motley Cru Restaurant, Coffee & Cocktail Bar has been alive and well and truly buzzing .....
Outdoor Dining space
You needn’t worry that we will become too busy though….. we have been busy creating much more outside Dining space here so that there will always be space to breathe.
Dine in the Vines
We started the season at the beginning of May with the installation of a couple of beautiful thatched-roof Safari Huts in the Vineyard situated in amongst the Vines so that guests could “Dine in the Vines” even when it rains (all of our Safari Huts have heating & lighting within them especially in case it gets chilly on our Pizza & Cocktail Nights).

Our Safari Huts soon became so popular with you all that we had to have more Huts installed to keep up with demand for table reservations ....
The “Savannah” and the “Mara” we’re fully booked from the moment we had finished the South African planting scheme around the outside of them. They have become little havens for the Bees & Butterflies and our feathered beauties (our Cru Cru Marran chickens) love strutting up to all guests in the Huts to meet & greet and entertain them with their unique "tribal" dance as they dig for worms in unison in between the Vines. They are totally captivating to watch!
What a joy it has been to hear you all happily laughing and chatting with your friends and families and even making new friends by meeting other guests in the Huts next to yours!
Wine Safari Tours & Wine Tastings
We’ve hosted so many Wine Safari Tours & Wine Tastings in these thatched Huts and we are always thrilled to hear your squeals of delight when The Motley Cru Team present you with one of our famous Deli Feast Platters - they never fail to bring joy! As does the sound of a champagne cork popping as you taste our Sparkling Wines. We already have Wine Safari Tour Bookings for 2022 so it looks as though it's going to be another busy Season with many of you also buying Gift Vouchers for our Tours .... the Vineyard might be closed for the season but The Motley Cru Team are very much here handling your calls and . in the office.

We know you all love the fact that you are never rushed and that you can simply relax and spend all day here if you wish.
The Terrace
You won’t be surprised to learn that we have more "Outdoor Dining" areas planned for 2022. We all need “space to breathe” and escape the confusions of the mad world we live in. We know how reassuring it is to find a place that provides a sense of calm, a haven of peace & tranquility, a place to escape to with like-minded friends.
So with that in mind ....one of the things we are doing is to create a new space to be known as “The Terrace” where you can lounge on Deck Beds over-looking the Vines. It’s an area with its own outdoor Bar, a much larger thatched Safari-style Hut serving Alfresco Snacks with a Mediterranean theme.
We look forward to sharing the rest of our plans with you for 2022 so that you can’t wait for us to reopen at Easter time.

Its always a hive of activity with plenty going on behind the scenes even when the large corten steel Entrance Gates are closed …..
Wine
Harvesting was a joy ...... All 15,000 Vines have been picked and the Grapes have been pressed and are now actively fermenting in their tanks preparing to be enjoyed by you all next year. A huge thank you to everyone who worked with us to pick the grapes in record time!
Cider
The Apples have also been picked and fermentation is underway transforming the pressed juice into the Estate’s Sparkling Cider that certainly proved incredibly popular this year!
